Fire Damage – Rexburg House

Fire damage at this Rexburg home began as an electrical fire in a ceiling lighting fixture. The home was a two-story home, so there was significant damage to the second floor. The damage shown in the before photo is the ceiling of the first floor. Needless to say, this was a challenging job. We had to tear out fire damaged building materials and treat the home for soot and smoke damage. Also, we had water cleanup to do as a result of the firefighting efforts. Fortunately, SERVPRO has established procedures and products for each phase of a restoration project such as this. The after photo shows the result of the efforts of our trained technicians.
